Myth
"God will not put on you more than you can handle"

Myth
"God wants me to be comfortable"

Truth
"God wants me to be conformed to be more like Jesus"

He is far more interested in me being conformed than he is in me being comfortable.

Do I look more like Jesus today than I did the day I was saved?

He who started the work, will be faithful to complete it in you.

Any temptation you receive will also come with a way out. Always. He will always have a route out.

We are not here for 80 years of bliss. We are here on a mission.

Truth
Trouble is woven into life's fabric.

Stupid is knowing better and doing it anyway. Ignorant is not knowing.

Hardship is life. Man is few of days an full of trouble. -Job

Our trouble was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the dead.

Why would God give you only what you could handle? He wants you to look to Him not to yourself.

The great work He wants to do in us is beyond what we can handle.
