We had a major shoot a few weekends ago that was going to require quite a bit of communication throughout the day, so, to enable that communication, I needed about eight professional-build and long-range walkie talkies.
Smith Two-Way Radio, located right here in Rogers (with an office in Fayetteville as well) was my first and last stop.
They rented me eight of these CP200 radios for a great price, and made the weekend shoot come together. We had the radios on opposite ends of the area we were shooting at, and were able to talk to each other even at close to 3000ft.
Loved the service, the price, and the quality of having super nice radios, not consumer=level ones, rented for the weekend. Definitely plan to do that again for other large events and shoots. :)
We are getting settled into our first home, and while pictures will be able to come later this week, right now I'm just excited about my first install, this hose reel on the side of the house.
Over-undered of course, this is Cameron Magee's house. 100ft beast from Home Depot didn't want to do anything but coil into a mess but I made sure it knew what house it had come to. Gotta roll it over under! :D
Cannot say enough about how much we love the features and free service we use from Mint.com. Even if you're not interested in beginning to budget and focus the way we do on our finances, at least go spend the 10mins it takes to set up an account and link it to your banking, so that Mint can begin tracking your information. Then, if you decide you're ready in a few months, it already has the log of information.
We LOVE the clarity it provides for us. :)
