new home: MBSF

You leave something nice to go serve, and you arrive being served.

You leave something you think is wonderful for something not as nice, and you arrive to the nicest thing you've ever seen.

You don't forget why your there, and you serve more abundantly the greatest God that lives inside of you and has delivered everything you see and do not see into your hands.

I will show my appreciation to you.

Flying with DeLuca

My friend Nick is in town for two weeks enjoying the last part of his summer on Bentonville visiting friends and family.

Nick is enrolled in the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, training to fly some of the finest airplanes on the planet.

Nick has had his private pilots license since we were in high school together, and was kind enough to take me up today on a little joy ride.

At first Nick texted me and asked if I wanted to go to lunch. Then he clarified that he was craving a burger only Oklahoma could offer. Of course, I also was craving the same burger that I had never tasted, so we made the 25min flight over and enjoyed Grand Lake's finest hamburger.

Nick's a great pilot and an even better friend. Given the opportunity, I'd trust him with my life.

Today I did. :-) and it was great

Jungle Pong

Here's a group of guys playing, a little different. My friend Daver (shoutout) sent me over this video he found. These guys leave their paddles on the table when they're out. Fascinating.
