This lesson we bring in two new chords. Those chords are:

These are going to be very important moving forward. After this lesson we will have covered a total of 6 chords, and will soon be able to move on into multiple keys outside of E.

We sat down for about 30mins, but I want him to be able to progress in his training, even if we are 3hrs apart. So, tonight I sat down to send him a quick video on what to look at next.

While I was getting set up, I thought it might be beneficial to put a little bit more energy into it, and make them structured enough to share online.

Hopefully these basic little videos can help others. My motivation behind spending the extra hours working on these is that it will reach someone somewhere and will equip them to be able to be used by the Lord to lead for their community, wherever it may be.

I am going to start them out very basic, with the target audience of a person with about 5mins of experience on the guitar. They are going to move fairly slow, but progress fairly fast. Take all the time you need in between each video and practice along! :)

thanks for stopping by,

Laura
We have been in NWA for two weeks now, but there are tons of things we still need to do to get settled. One of those things is find someone to cut our hair. We had to move away from our favorite hair cutter, Taylor at the Gossip Shop, in Arkadelphia. Because I know nothing about the area, I thought it would be fun to try out the local beauty school, Career Academy of Hair Design.

I have never had my hair cut by a "student" before and thought now would be the best time to try. I love saving money and you can't beat $7 a hair cut. Cameron and I both had our haircut by different girls. It wasn't a traumatizing experience, but it did take an hour and a half. Even though it wasn't the best haircut I've ever gotten, I'll probably go back again.

I'll offer my hair to someone to learn because so me people offered me their hands to stick IVs in while I was learning :)

We have a ton of different systems we have adapted along the way, and a variety of containers and bags to keep things together. One of the items we have a pair of and use on nearly everything are these Timbuk2 Dime Bags. Laura and I can strap these to our Timbuk2 messenger bag straps and keep a few small things very handy.
